Synthetic Biology is a critical part of the European Bioeconomy. The first European team participated in the iGEM Competition in 2005 and since then over 20 countries and close to 1000 teams have participated in the competition from the region.

The iGEM Ambassadors for Europe are passionate individuals who have gone through the iGEM competition cycle and can guide your European team`s journey!
