Giulio visited the university's campuses shortly before the lecture and engaged in a closer conversation with individuals who are particularly interested in synbio, including a biochemistry professor who would likely be the iGEM team's PI.

He provided instructions on synthetic biology and inspired UNIFAL students to form an iGEM team. After his lecture, several people showed interest. They have asked for tips on how to start a team and suggestions as a good path for them.
