The 46th Annual Meeting of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan, held from December 6th to 8th, 2023, in Kobe, Japan, emerged as a pivotal platform for advancing the visibility and impact of iGEM within the molecular biology field in Japan.

Many attendees, including professors, researchers, and students, gained insights into this global synthetic biology initiative.
- Showcasing progress and impact: Kohei and Rei shared the remarkable progress and profound impact generated by Japanese iGEM teams during the iGEM Grand Jamboree 2023. The exciting news of Japan's first-ever grand prize winner in the 2023 iGEM Jamboree captivated the audience, emphasizing the contributions and capabilities of our teams.
- Fostering collaborations: The event presented an exceptional opportunity to initiate potential collaborations with various stakeholders, including companies, academia, and government entities. Their discussions centered on the potential synergies that could be harnessed to support iGEM and enhance the broader iGEM Community.
