Description
The course will be led by experts in biosafety, biosecurity, and synthetic biology. The content will encompass a range of formats, including online modules, assessments, downloadable resources, live webinars and a monthly discussion group. The course will be hosted on the iGEM Community website, free-of-charge.
While the course is designed to be accessible to beginners, a foundational understanding of life sciences may enhance the learning experience. No specific technical skills are required for participation, though an interest in biosecurity and a commitment to ethical research practices are essential.
The course aims to cultivate a vibrant community of practice, where learners can engage in meaningful discussions, network with peers and experts, and participate in live webinars. This community aspect is designed to extend learning beyond the digital classroom, encouraging ongoing dialogue and collaboration.
