McGill iGEM, a non-profit synthetic biology research group and the 2023 winner of the iGEM Grand Jamboree, recently hosted its annual conference, OnTheVerge.

iGEM Ambassadors Kate and Albert, represented iGEM and reinforced the organization's commitment to fostering connections and promoting synthetic biology. The event served as a platform for the intersection of science and entrepreneurship, bringing together industry professionals, academics, and students to present innovative biotech solutions to significant challenges. With daily attendance exceeding 100 participants, the conference facilitated discussions at the convergence of synthetic biology, AI, and entrepreneurship.
The program featured five speaker panels, a variety of workshops, and numerous networking opportunities within the biotech and AI communities. Ticket sales supported the research projects spearheaded by McGill iGEM.



McGill iGEM provided an outstanding platform for sharing innovative ideas, facilitating meaningful discussions, and fostering connections with bright minds in synthetic biology.
